I’m Lynsey, and I’m a pet portrait artist based in the north of England.
I believe the love you have for your pet deserves to be celebrated.
Because they’re not just your pet, are they? They become part of your life. Your routines, your comfort, your family. And it’s often the little things about them that you know better than anyone else.
That’s what I love about creating pet portraits. I’m not just interested in getting the likeness right. I want to capture the details that make your pet unmistakably them, from the expression in their eyes to the little quirks you’d recognise anywhere.
Each portrait is created slowly and carefully, because I believe good work takes time.
I work exclusively on drafting film, a high quality archival surface that allows me to create coloured pencil portraits with exceptional depth, detail and longevity.
I share my studio with Slinki, my black cat, daily companion and most demanding colleague.
